Connor Brown Signs with Edmonton Oilers

Former Maple Leafs and Senators Forward Joins Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers have signed right winger Connor Brown to a one-year, $3.6 million contract. Brown, a 29-year-old native of Toronto, Ontario, has played 436 games in the NHL over nine seasons, recording 94 goals and 134 assists for 228 points.
Brown began his NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2014-15 and spent four seasons with the team before being traded to the Ottawa Senators in 2018-19. He spent four seasons with the Senators before being traded to the Washington Capitals in 2022-23. In 50 games with the Capitals this season, Brown had 10 goals and 15 assists.
Brown is a skilled skater with a good shot and a strong work ethic. He is expected to provide the Oilers with some much-needed secondary scoring and depth on the wing.
