Antony Blinken: The New US Secretary of State

On January 26th, 2021, Antony Blinken was sworn in as the 71st United States Secretary of State.

As the President's chief foreign affairs advisor, Blinken's role is to provide counsel on international relations and oversee the implementation of US foreign policy.

In other news, Hari Jawaharlal has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Governor of Raj Bhavan, while Yerra Srilakshmi, a former Andhra Pradesh Secretary for Industries, has also assumed a new role.
