IBA Announces Global Qualifying Tournament in Italy
The world's top boxing athletes are preparing for the highly anticipated 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. From July 26th to August 11th, 2024, the boxing tournament will showcase the sport's finest competitors vying for Olympic glory.
The qualification phase for the boxing tournament is set to begin with the first global qualifying event to be held in Italy. From March 3rd, 49 Olympic quotas will be up for grabs, paving the way for the road to Paris.
The Olympic Qualification System (OQS) has undergone revisions in preparation for the Paris 2024 Games. The International Boxing Association (IBA) is delighted to receive confirmation from the IOC Executive Board, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive qualifying process.
